What Motivates Us

 Too many children in need today, both around the world and right here at home.

What Connect For Kids Knows

• That we are called to love and serve these children in need because we are loved by God.   Each of us has stepped well outside of our comfort zones during our experiences of walking alongside children in need. (Even writing this is out of our comfort zones!!)  As a result, we have learned so many things about growing in our faith, and trusting that God's love is transformational, even when things seem to be at their worst.  We know that God equips us to do what he calls us to do, and this is what he is calling all of us to do!  
• People working together can do AMAZING things for others: empower, love,  support, teach.  We all have specific gifts to share. When we connect people together with a purpose (and what better purpose than helping kids!) the IMPACT is beyond expectations! 
• Keeping it simple is important.  Let's use our ordinary life experiences to add a bit of impact for others? (Christmas card traditions, Cookouts- you get the idea)  Let's work together so we all contribute and no one is overwhelmed.  Let's be grateful no matter the perceived outcome...we never know the ripple effects of our actions. 

How Connect For Kids Foundation Operates

We exist to connect people to provide support to children in need both internationally and in our local communities.  

100% of funds raised go to helping children in need.
Our Goal is to equally balance support of international and local 501c3 organizations. 
 
 All donations go directly to the Connect For Kids Foundation and are tax deductible.  Instead of your donation going into a checking account, it goes into the Connect For Kids donor advised fund held by Impact Assets. You have two options for giving- by check or by credit card. Learn more at our Donation page.
Funds are then distributed in grant form to 501c3 organizations that meet the criteria of the Connect For Kids Foundation.  No operating costs come out of the funds donated to Connect For Kids Foundation, the Connect For Kids team takes responsibility for all operating costs. 

During this holiday season, all donations will go to Good Samaritan Children's Home in Migori, Kenya to support the full cost of educating 25 students.  Learn more here...
